According to Tendick, all of the photos embody Nicholaus, or Nick, with his big laugh or being with his family. “Nick had a big heart. I remember he came back one night without shoes and a shirt because there were kids outside that were cold. He would literally give the shirt off his back. That’s the kind of person he was,” Tendick says.

Conducting A Lavender Festival Amid The Pandemic

The McKenzie River Lavender Festival looked very different this year, instead of having hundreds of tickets sold, the McKenzie River Lavender decided to have a “Lavender Bloom”. Ethos Producer Fallon Dunham followed up with Carol Tannenbaum, and shares archival footage from last year’s McKenzie River Lavender Festival in 2019.
