Story and Photos by Kyle McKee
Sasquatch Music Festival is essentially a glorified recess for adults, but replace the jungle gym with five stages and the top musical acts from around the world. It’s an excuse to act like you’re a child, paint on your face and blow bubbles while listening to musicians, comedians, and witnessing mind-bending lightshows. Take away the music festival acts and amenities; the natural beauty of the Columbia River Gorge is an excuse to be there itself. This year the festival will be happening May 23-25 over Memorial Day with headliners Outkast, The National, Queens of the Stone Age, and MIA.
