According to Tendick, all of the photos embody Nicholaus, or Nick, with his big laugh or being with his family. “Nick had a big heart. I remember he came back one night without shoes and a shirt because there were kids outside that were cold. He would literally give the shirt off his back. That’s the kind of person he was,” Tendick says.

The Band Named After a Common Chore

Laundry the Band was created by students at The University of Oregon. Starting their freshman year they began bringing night life by showcasing their art and love of music at numerous house shows.
